Prohibiton is over
I took the last of my medicine at 7 am this morning.
At 6:30 pm, I popped open an Amstel Light.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
The end of prohibition.
We met the SGAC at Harvest Moon to find out more about the upcoming bicycle racing in Albany Mardi Gras weekend. Saturday's race will be a downtown crit and I volunteered to be a whip that morning.
Sunday will be the road race, and after a few beers, Clark, Fred and I piped up that we will be racing the Beginners race that morning....We can race a 50k no problem. Podium finish is very doubtful, but we can show up and see what develops. This race will surely provide some good blog topics.
