Shooting at the mall
A man was gunned down outside JC Penney at the Albany Mall at 1:30 this afternoon. Dead. Murdered. Supposedly have someone in custody, but WOW.
Its time for the donut eaters in this town to quit targeting speeders on Slappey and address the gang problem that exists here.
Might be jumping to conclusions about it being gang related, but more then likely, it wasn't a housewife shooting somebody for getting the last of the markdowns.

If not gang, then drug related is my bet.
Last weekend some guy here in Detroit Rock City shot a couple of people (killed one of them) for walking on his freshly seeded front yard. Believe me, I know how hard it can be to get a nice looking lawn , but man, someone needs to chill.
While I don't naively believe that better gun control laws would keep these people from getting guns, it couldn't hurt. Having a legal system that actually punishes criminals would also be helpful.
