Whats in a Name?

One of my favorite things to do when I am out in the world is look people's names. Lately, I have noticed that there is a true lack of regular, old-school names. Not many Susan, John, Beth, but instead long, long names that just seem to be a string of letters.

Last night was the overall winner.

Our waitress at Longhorn was very pleasant and introduced herself as Yoshi.

I just couldn't let that get by. Much as I tried to resist, I just had to ask.... Were you named after a video game character?? She said not. She remained pleasant and none of us, to my knowledge got sick from the food served to us last night.
