Floyd's the man

Going into Le Tour de France, I had Ivan Basso as the winner. Well, unfortunately, the Spanish drug scandal pulled him from the tour, as well as another favorite, Jan Ullrich. Several other teams lost riders as well. I wonder if we'll ever see the evidence.

Guilty until proven innocent in the UCI.

Monday, the first rest day on the tour, had the cocky young American rider from the Amish country of PA reveal that he has a degenerative disease resulting from a crash, and he will be getting a hip replacement after the tour. He has been riding and living with severe pain for over 2 years and has managed to hide his condition from all but a few close people in his camp.

Floyd Landis won the Tour de Georgia here back in April and now I am cheering for him to win in Paris.

Lance beat cancer. Tyler rode le Tour with a broken collar bone and even managed to win a stage. Floyd needs a new hip. These American riders are tough, you Frenchies.
Floyd Landis is the new King of Cycling and Tyler will be back after September.
