Isn't that SPECIAL?
Last night we celebrated our August birthdays with the Neal family. Mollie had gotten there early and had the table nicely decorated with flowers and balloons, and Clark's very most favorite strawberry cake was waiting in the background.
We all ordered off the menu and Connor decided he wanted to try one of the two nightly specials, the Alaskan king crab legs. Everyone tried to tell them they were a lot of work, but Millie said, its ok, we can help him. Everybody's food comes out and Connor ate some of the crab legs, left all his spinach and didn't seem that into them at all. Luckily, he had some help. Millie and Clark jumped in and went to cracking and eating. I had a bite and they weren't that sweet, tasted a lot of iodine in them.
Millie, Neal and the kids took off before the rest of us, as they were already out past their bedtime and it was a school night, after all.
We visited with Mollie & Clark, Sr. until the wait staff had decided they wanted us to leave. Upon reviewing the bill, CS calls the waitress over. The bill had the crab leg "special" for $ 40.... We all were shocked but, once you have ordered and eaten, what else can you do but suck it up and pay the bill?
Connor originally wanted to order a cheeseburger, but they discouraged him from that. I'll bet Connor won't be eating crab legs out there again!
