Kickstand
Last night, I met a dog named Kickstand at the Humane Society. Poor lil guy had a big red cast on his broken rear leg.
Winds up his former owner called Animal Control about this vicious dog biting her fiance. The animal control officer told them to bring the dog to the shelter and he would write up the report. Woman shows up with the dog in a box with some towels in it. Said the dog bit the finace when he tried to get the dog to quit eating the cat's food.
After moving the towels, the staff sees the dog's broken leg. The woman's response, "Yeah, I kicked him!"
Don't know how they were able to resist kicking HER. This " killer dog" is a tiny beagle puppy!
What is wrong with people???
On the good news front, Kickstand has been adopted and was going to the vet today for his neuter surgery, then to his forever home. The staff thought his new family was going to name him Chester. Good thing. Maybe he can forget about the crappy previous life he had.
